We men need to apologize for hurting, dominating and abusing our women in every possible way, since the first caveman dragged a woman by her hair. Today, we attempt to explore the galaxies and contemplate travel at the speed of light, while our women are still not safe on the streets. And many, not even at home. The extra muscle in the male is a promise to protect, not a license to dominate or harm. It is a lie to say that mankind is ‘civilized’ or ‘evolved’. The truth remains that one half of us is hurt by the other.
